Job Title: C#/.NET Web Development Software Engineer

Location: On-site in Hauppauge, NY or Winston-Salem, NC

Job Type: Full-time 

 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a skilled C#/.NET Web Development Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance web applications using C# and .NET technologies. You will work on both front-end and back-end components to deliver robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with a deep understanding of .NET frameworks, and experience in building and optimizing web applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

─         Design, develop and maintain web applications using C# and .NET technologies.

─         Develop, manage and optimize database schemas, stored procedures and queries, primarily using SQL server.

─         Build responsive front-end interfaces and ensure smooth integration with back-end web services.

─         Architect and develop back-end web services.

─         Troubleshoot and resolve web application issues, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

─         Ensure the security and scalability of web applications and database.

─         Work closely with design team and other developers to define requirements and deliver solutions.

─         Follow industry best practices for coding, testing and development processes.

─         Keep up to date with the latest advancements in web technologies and .NET frameworks.

─         Contribute to the overall software architecture and system design decisions.

 


Required Qualifications:

─         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

─         2-5 years of experience with C# and ASP.NET in web development.

─         Strong experience with SQL Server database, design, query optimization and performance.

─         Proficient in creating and managing database tables, views, stored procedures and functions.

─         Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.

─         Experience with IIS setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

─         Familiarity with Web Services (REST, SOAP) and API integration.

─         Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on creating high-performance applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

─         Knowledge of video technologies is a plus.

─         MVC Framework web development a plus.

─         Experience in .NET Core a plus.

─         Familiarity with cloud platforms is preferred.

─         Highly self-motivated with a keen ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

─         Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and maintain a positive attitude.

─         Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

─         Capable of working effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
